Early on the morning of November 4th, companies 33, 61(Hamburg), and 590(Kutztown EMS) covering for company 545(Hamburg EMS) were dispatched to the area of Sunday Rd. and Balthaser Rd. in Windsor Township for a motor vehicle accident with injuries and entrapment. Rescue 33, Rescue 61, and Rescue Engine 61 responded and were advised of one vehicle down an embankment with one female still inside. Lieutenant 33 arrived on location shortly after dispatch and reported one SUV down an embankment on Balthaser Rd. with one female still in the vehicle with ankle pain and that the driver's door needed to be popped to extricate the patient. Crews from 61 and 33 took the driver's door before extricating the patient onto the waiting backboard and stokes basket to be carried up to EMS. Crews cleared the scene a short time later.
