10/27/11-Vehicle Into Tree on Church Hill Rd.

Author: Kellen Klee
On October 27th, while company 33 was packing up at the fire at Penn Detroit Diesel on Route 222, company 33 and company 535(Fleetwood EMS) were dispatched to Route 662 and Church Hill Rd. in Richmond Township for a motor vehicle accident with unknown injuries. Chief and Rescue 33 responded and were advised of one vehicle into a tree. Engine Tanker 46 was still in the area and also responded. Responding units were then advised this would actually be on Church Hill Rd. near Gehret Rd. Units arrived and found one vehicle into a tree with heavy damage. Crews checked the interior of the vehicle and surrounding woods and were unable to locate any occupants. Crews cleared a short time later after the vehicle was removed.
